Skybound Cirrus vs Stratos

Skybound describe their trampoline assembly as 'lighting fast'. They say this is because the trampolines simply push together as there are no bolts or screws. Furthermore, this should allow for a quicker breakdown if you wish to take your trampoline apart.
Most user reviews agree that the trampoline is very easy to assemble and say that it can be done in under 2 hours with a helper. Some buyers even claim to have put their trampolines together in less than an hour. In the rare cases where customers have cited issues with assembly, it is in relation to attaching the safety net enclosure. However, the Skybound trampolines are a little cheaper than their Acon counterparts. Skybound offer an oval shape which cannot be purchased from Acon. However, unlike Skybound, Acon also offer a rectangular trampoline shape.
Skybound vs Skywalker trampoline
Skywalker trampolines are significantly cheaper than Skybound trampolines and offer many of the same features such as a sturdy enclosure net and galvanised steel frame. Both also have excellent user and expert reviews. However, Skywalker trampolines do not have the zip fastening that you get with a Skybound trampoline. The warranty on Skybound frames is also much longer at 10 years as opposed to the 3 year warranty offered by Skywalker. Skywalker also do not offer the same wide range of products offered by Skybound.
Skybound vs Springfree
Springfree come with a much heftier price tag than Skybound trampolines. As both brands provide excellent safety, Skybound are a good alternative if you can't stretch to the cost of a Springfree trampoline. However, Springfree do not offer a kids' model like Skybound. On the other hand, Springfree offer a variety of accessories such as basketball hoops that are not currently offered by Skybound.
Skybound replacement parts
When we looked, we found replacement jumping mats and springs on Amazon for Skybound trampolines. You can also purchase an anchor kit if you are worried about your trampoline shifting position during use.
What we like (pros)
- We especially like the safety enclosures on Skybound trampolines. They are heavy duty and include a zip fastening. This is superior to other methods of securing the trampoline entrance and works to ensure that you can't fall out following an overenthusiastic bounce.
- Also, it's great that the safety enclosures are attached to the jumping mat. This means that you don't have access to the springs, preventing limbs getting stuck in the gap. As this can be dangerous, this is a great sign that Skybound take the safety of their users seriously. Please note that the oval trampoline does not include this feature. Instead, there is a safety skirt to cover the springs.
- Finally, these trampolines are well-designed for very easy assembly. As putting up trampolines can be notoriously difficult, it's great that Skybound have address this issue in their construction.
What we don't like (cons)
- We would like to see a wider range of accessories available for Skybound trampolines such as basketball hoops or sun shades. It would also be an improvement if they attached the safety net of the Orion oval trampoline to the jumping mat. This would make it comparable in terms of safety to their other trampolines.
